It was displayed for the first time in the year of the Athens Olympics in 2004. It consists of 1 or 2 half domes (rounded parts) with the standard shape of enclosure in between or at one end. The main advantage is the ability to move freely within the whole space covered by the enclosure. The sliding system makes the movement of standard segments easy in both directions. There are double movable parts opening from the middle in to the rounded parts. Opening/shutting is easy and does not require more than one or two persons (depending on the size of the construction) to operate (a motor is optional). Aluminum profiles can also come with a wood-like finish. This classic touch is particularly attractive with the bigger pool enclosures such as the Laguna, Tropea and Olympic models.
